Our Plans For 2022Corey Crowdy
From remote working to boat shows, it is fair to say 2021 has been a very interesting year! The Boatworld crew would like to take this moment to express our gratitude for your support & custom this year!
2022 is shaping up to be very exciting indeed here at Boatworld and we have lots of great things to share. As such we wanted to take the opportunity in this blog to announce some our plans for the coming year, including some exciting new developments that we are working on as we go forward into the new year, so you know what to look forward to!
Southampton International Boat Show in 2021 was our fourth appearance and it was a great experience. How we have missed getting out there and meeting you all! It’s always great to hear anecdotes from your fun times using Boatworld products and to put a face to our customers.
We are happy to say we will once again be attending the show this year, which will be taking place between the 16th & 25th of September. We will have with us boats from all of our ranges, water sports gear, our outboards, towables and much more; As well as some very exciting new additions. So clear your calendar and come and say hello!
We have also got plans to attend other boating shows this year too, so keep your eyes peeled for further details on those!
Expanding our outboard offering:
Throughout the next 12 months we are aiming to extend our Orca range up to 70hp as the year goes on to better suit all of our customer’s needs. We will also be expanding into electric outboards. We have seen the growth and huge potential with electric outboards as more people embrace the eco-friendly alternative, replacing their small four strokes with a rechargeable modern solution. Having seen first-hand how these can rival traditional outboards we had to get involved. As such we will be introducing some electric outboards equivalent to 3HP throughout the year!
As Orca’s coverage and brand reach has expanded the demand from our customers for reliable service centres nationwide has increased. That is why we are currently on the hunt for high quality marinas, outboard retailers and marine engineers who have the capability to service our outboards and can become service agents for Orca. This is something we are aiming to develop considerably going forward to benefit Orca users.
Following-on from the lockdowns and staycations of 2020 and into 2021, it has been great to see the world starting to open up again. With that has come huge demand for water sports; It has been particularly great to see and hear about lots of newcomers getting out on the water for the first time!
We have lots of exciting new products on their way to you in 2022 as well as some old classics coming back that we can’t wait to share! Not least a brand new Boatworld Towable which will be out very very soon. We have also seen how popular Full Throttle and ZUP watersports gear have been with you, so expect to see much more of these fantastic brands as we move forward in the new year too.
New Year – New Boats:
Boatworld’s-aluminium floored boats, the 330 Pro & 420 Range Master, are incredibly popular among casual boaters and anglers alike looking for something very sturdy. But we have long been asked if we do anything between the two… We are happy to say we will soon have something that falls into this sweet spot. Introducing the Super Pro, this boat is of superb quality with a great array of features, finished off in a sleek carbon effect black and red.
This year we have seen how one of our most sought after boats, the Elling KB350 has developed quite the following online with it’s unique trimaran design and sturdy air deck. Due to this demand we will be rolling out the Elling KB390 to our range for when the 350 just isn’t enough.
Finally… We are super excited to reveal our completely new boat range for the year. These are a GRP entry level sports boat constructed in Europe. We cannot wait to reveal more details about this in the coming months!
