OUR STORY
Boatworld UK was established as a business over fifty years ago in 1969. Back then, Boatworld was a traditional bricks and mortar retailer selling boating and water sports equipment from a mail-order catalogue. Since then Boatworld has changed and adapted into a top online retailer to bring you all that is best in the boating and water sports world online.
Amongst our products, we stock a wide range of small inflatable boats and outboard engines, complemented by a vast array of accessories to go with them and larger sports boats. Our warehouses have all the latest from top water sports brands for tow behind fun, for all the family. So whether it’s an anchor or a wetsuit, a boat cover or buoyancy aid, we should have something in our locker for you! Because we stock it, it comes out to you straight away with no delay!
We are staffed by a small, friendly, dedicated team, that knows what’s going on in the industry and marketplace. MEET THE TEAM
Director
I’ve been loving life at Boatworld now since 2011, but I’ve been a customer for a lot longer! I’m a keen sailor with a passion for watersports, with over 40 years of experience out on the water, whether that’s barefoot skiing or sailing the atlantic.
Managing Director
Having worked at Boatworld on and off for over 20 years, I now take care of all the day-to-day running of Boatworld. As Dave (the late founder of Boatworld) was my Step Father, we were always on the water every weekend on our Bayliner having loads of fun.
Operations Supervisor
As operations supervisor, I’m dedicated to ensuring smooth and seamless operations at Boatworld. From planning trade shows to organising staff socials and everything in between. When I can, I love to go skiing and increase my wine collection.
Sales & Customer Service Executive
I am a Sales & Customer Service Executive here at Boatworld. I will be the one who deals with all your enquiries and questions. I am passionate about cars and anything mechanical. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and learning new things.
Business Administrator
I take care of Boatworld’s admin and accounting. I’ve long been interested in boats ever since going out on the water with my Dad as a kid on our sailboat! Nowadays I love to spend my spare time out of the office with my two lovely daughters.
Warehouse Operative
I take charge of keeping the Boatworld warehouse running like a well-oiled machine. When I’m not busy packing and shipping your orders out you can find me out with my kids or cheering on my local football team, the mighty Chesterfield FC.
Marine Engineer
I’m in charge of the engineering side of things at Boatworld. I’ve been into boating since I was around 7 years old when I got into water skiing. Now I’ve been servicing, stripping down outboards and rigging boats for as long as I can remember.
Content Creator
I’ve been working for Boatworld since 2015, I create our graphic designs and content for printed marketing. Most of my spare time is taken up by competing in the British Jetski Championships, watching other motorsports or out taking photos and drone flying.
Marine Engineer Assistant
I’m the marine engineer assistant here at Boatworld, taking care of servicing and engine PDI’s. I have a serious passion for all things mechanical, outboards, cars. You name it! Outside of work I love to travel, take my dog on long walks and skate through the city.

This place is unreal the customer service was the best you’ve ever seen the 2 chaps that helped me Mike and Dave were the 2 helpful members of staff I’ve ever seen. I purchased a 360 Fisher pro the best boat for the money I’ve ever brought very well made and great quality.
