The Mistral Colora 11'6 stand-up paddleboard SUP, is designed for paddlers ready to explore beyond the shoreline. If you are looking for a board that balances the stability of a recreational all-rounder with the performance needed for medium-distance cruising, this is the ideal platform.
At 11'6" long, the Colora offers significantly better glide and tracking speed than shorter boards, allowing you to cover more water with less effort. However, with a width of 31" and a classic elliptical Malibu shape, it retains the stability needed for beginners or relaxing days on the water. It can carry a total load of up to 140kg (optimal rider/load: approx. 125kg), making it suitable for camping gear or supplies for a day trip.
Versatility and Kayak Mode
Flexibility is a key feature of the Colora 11'6. The deck is equipped with four marine-grade stainless steel D-rings designed to accept a kayak seat (sold separately). This allows you to switch from standing to a seated position, a distinct advantage when facing headwinds or chopping water on longer journeys.
Construction and Technology
The board is built using Mistral’s Knitted Drop-stitch Technology (KDT). This construction uses 15,000 woven polyester threads per square metre to connect the deck and hull, creating a single-layer skin that is both lightweight and incredibly stiff. This robust design ensures the board handles well without excessive flex, yet remains light enough to transport easily.

- Nose-Mounted Valve: The high-pressure H4 valve is positioned at the nose. This practical design allows you to fold the board from the tail up, pushing air out naturally as you roll, rather than trapping it.

Materials, Care and Storage
- Care: Wash with fresh water after use. Remove the fin before storage. Use PVC cleaner for marks; avoid abrasive chemicals.
- Storage: The board can be stored deflated in its bag or inflated (reduce pressure to 8psi if storing inflated). Keep in a dry, cool, and ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
