Reliable Safety Hub and Flotation for Larger Commercial Vessels

The Life Cell Trawler Flotation Device for 6 people is specifically engineered for larger boats and commercial applications where high buoyancy and extensive storage are vital. This device serves as a centralised emergency hub, keeping all your mandatory survival equipment together and buoyant in the event of an emergency. The internal compartment is spacious enough to hold an EPIRB, flares, air horns, V-sheets, torches, and heliographs.

While the EPIRB can be stored securely inside, it can also be mounted externally for immediate access. Furthermore, an external recess is designed to hold the beacon upright, ensuring it functions properly to signal for help while you are in the water.

Designed with the reality of marine emergencies in mind, the Life Cell Trawler Flotation Device aims to keep people together during times of panic. It comes equipped with four lanyards, which are essential to ensure users do not become separated from the flotation device due to fatigue or high sea states. Beyond mandatory gear, there is additional room for personal items such as wallets, keys, phones, and even a handheld VHF radio or emergency water.

  • SOLAS Certified: This device holds a certificate of Type Approval as a Novel Life-Saving Appliance by Lloyds Register under IMO resolution A.580 (13). It is suitable for installation on ships bound by the International Convention of SOLAS.
  • Smart Mounting: The included standard mounting bracket is designed to allow the Life Cell Trawler Flotation Device to float off its bracket automatically if the vessel sinks.
