Need a trailer

Once inflated the boat is fine. But, the carry strap on the bag it came in broke the very first time I picked it up. Ripped material.

It’s heavy and unwieldy. Man-handled into my Audi A6 Allroad with the 9.9hp engine and then I rested for 20mins as it’s exhausting.

Drove to river where I used it. Dragged it and inflated it. You need wheels to get it into the water so transom fitted kit needed.

After boating, drag out of the water and deflate to pack into car. Once home, drag it outbid the car and re-inflate to clean and then once dried off, deflate and pack away.

So, Inwoukd say for a boat as big as this, you need a trailer to keep it permanently inflated and just top up when needed. Reverse the trailer into the water and launch it. Hose off on the trailer once home.

In conclusion, perfectly decent boat but at 3.6m you need 2 strong adults to prevent injuries and generally feeling like it’s just too much hassle and it ends up in the garage and never used. Or a trailer.

Love it, perfect for myself with no off street parking and lets face it it's not practical to leave an inflatable on a trailer on street.

It fits across the back seat of our Citroen C4 perfectly leaving room in the boot for a short shaft outboard motor and other bits and bobs, plus my wife on the front seat giving us a fantastic new freedom to get out on the water in comfort.

It feels very stable when set up (30 minutesish solo) on the water, looks great, there's plenty of room for the both of us in it and we aren't small on Lyn Tegid (Bala) and it was brilliant fun to use, despite still running the engine in on the sea with small waves, I've even had a sleep on it, with the anchor down on a lake, that was probably pretty dim!

Though it weighs 47kg I am able to shift it across a steepish beach (Llandudno) to the water and back again by breaking it into seperate trips, with the air deck one trip, oars and seats another, engine and then finally the boat itself so if you're reasonably fit you can use it solo without the need to enlist other pirates.

I absolutely love it and just wish I had more time, water nearer and better weather, if I did I think I'd be out on it daily.

It feels like a quality build compared to the previous tiny SIB I owned and with common sense care should last years and years, I'm utterly delighted I bought, it we plan to cross Scotland on the Union Canal next year in it as it should have enough room for our camping gear, can't wait!
