Description

We are in the business of selling you quality portable boats with engines to match. So like the Orca 8hp, we have taken an existing design and improved the performance to give you the Orca 12hp, another genuinely portable yet more powerful 4-stroke engine in its class.

Like the Orca 8hp, it’s undergone tweaks to its carburettor to produce that extra punch. Add the winning combination of easy handling and great control, and look no further than the Orca 12hp outboard. The 212cc 12hp portable is an impressive mid-range outboard. The twin-cylinder 9.9hp will provide you with an impressive power to weight ratio, which you can take anywhere at only 40kg in weight. Remember, next up after a 10hp outboard from most manufacturers is a 15hp at over 52-54kg!

The Orca 12hp features an easy to use well-balanced carry handle, and resting pads for side storage. With forward mounted controls (F-N-R) and a kill switch, operation is easy. The 9.9hp weighs 40kg meaning that it is still easily portable for inflatable boat use. This engine is a 17″ (434mm) short shaft model.

4 reviews for Orca 12hp Standard Shaft 4-Stroke Outboard Engine

  1. 5 out of 5

    Paul Munkenbeck (verified owner)

What an amazing outboard. Power to weight ratio is great it goes perfectly with our Air V 3.3. Reaches planning speed easily with two large adults aboard and still power to spare, yet this engine is light enough to carry with ease. Thanks Boatworld

I’m using my Orca 12hp on a 3.3m inflatable, there’s plenty of power for me to get back to shore against any strong tides and wind. I enjoy carrying out my own services, and if you need any help, it’s there at the end of the phone. These are great value for money engines.

Upgraded from an orca 8 to this orca 12 for my 3.3 airfloor Vee.
Nice and quiet engine, low vibration, very fuel efficient and plenty of power, Could not ask for more out of this.
Slightly heavier than the 8 but the extra power it produces is worth it 😊
Very good price for the package.

    happy customer 😁

This is a great outboard for a great price. Had it a while now and it has run perfectly on every outing, it starts without issue whether hot or cold and runs smoothly and quietly. I originally had it paired with a 33pro and would achieve 20mph with 2 on board so plenty powerful, I have just upgraded to a Carbon Pro so looking forward to seeing how it performs with a bigger boat. I should add It is also very economical to run. Very happy customer.
