Description
Hydrofoils increase the surface area of the cavitation plate creating more lift, and raising the stern. The result is a boat that planes faster rides smoother has increased stability and consumes less fuel. It can also help lift the skier, wakeboarder etc out of the water much quicker. Hydro foils, also known as whale tails, improve the overall performance in outboards or stern drive powered boats.
