The Riber J Bar Roof Bracket is designed to carry a single kayak on its side safely and securely by utilising your vehicle's existing roof crossbars. They have a universal fit to secure to most crossbars. You clamp the Riber J Bar Roof Bracket directly onto the crossbars of your vehicle and tighten the screws in place; no tools are required. You then lift your kayak onto the J Bars, which will cradle the hull. The thick foam buffer pads can be adjusted along the support arms to provide better protection for the underside of your kayak. Once your kayak is in place, strap down with the included tie-down kit and away you go.
The Riber J Bar Roof Bracket system allows you to transport your kayak safely and efficiently. It also gives you the added bonus of having extra space to the side for additional brackets to hold a second kayak or a slimline roof box. These J-Bars have a 19mm x 1.2mm powder-coated steel tube construction and are straightforward to install. They weigh just 3kg but have an impressive load capacity of 55kg.
Included with each Riber J Bar Roof Bracket are 2 x 3.5m tie-down straps and 2 x 4.5m safety ropes.
