Designed to replace 4- to 6-hp petrol engines, it delivers the torque you need for tenders, small fishing boats, and day sailors without the noise, fumes, or maintenance of a combustion engine.

What sets the Momentum U2 apart is its intelligent modular design. Instead of struggling with a single heavy unit, the system breaks down into three lightweight components for effortless transport:
- Motor: 9kg (Short Shaft)
- Battery: 8kg
- Transom Bracket: 2kg
This means the heaviest item you ever lift is just 9kg, making it the easiest outboard in its class to mount and dismount from your transom.
Battery & Performance
The unit includes a quick-swap 1.4kWh lithium-ion battery that integrates seamlessly into the top of the motor. It provides an exceptional range for its size, capable of pushing a small boat at cruising speeds for hours. For those needing more power, the system can deliver up to 3kW of peak output when connected to external batteries.
Pro-Level Power Boost
While the integrated battery provides a robust 2.5kW, the Momentum U2 is engineered for flexibility. Uniquely, it can be connected to any standard 48V external battery bank (LiFePO4 or Lead Acid). Doing so not only extends your range indefinitely but also unlocks the motor's full potential, boosting output to a peak of 3kW. This extra power is often the difference needed to get small, lightweight tenders onto the plane, a feat standard 1kW motors simply cannot achieve.
