Description
This Boatworld 3.5kg Danforth Anchor Kit is the perfect anchor kit for anchoring day boats, tenders, SIB’s, Larger Jet Skis and sailing dinghies. The galvanised Danforth anchor has strong and wide flukes which help penetrate the sea bed quickly and firmly. It can be easily stowed due to its compact nature. The anchor comes with an 8mm pre-spliced nylon anchor line and a galvanised 6mm chain and the galvanised bow shackles to attached everything together.
Kit contains:
- 1 x 2.5kg (7.8lbs) Danforth Anchor
- 2 x 8mm galvanised bow shackles
- 1 x 6mm x 2m (6.6ft) galvanised anchor chain
- 1 x 8mm x 30m (100ft) nylon twist pre-spliced anchor line
- Suitable for day boats (12-18ft guide), tenders, SIB’s, Jet Skis and small sailing dinghies

Bought this for my compass 135cc although I haven’t used it to anchor my boat yet but it is a good quality kit, it comes in a bag with the chain already attached and a roll of line to attach to the chain, it comes complete with the shackle to attach the line to and the line has a good quality loop to attach the chain shackle to.
This anchor doesn’t take up much space, it fits perfectly in the anchor locker of my Compass 135cc with loads of room to spare i can even store a couple of 16″ fenders in there with it!
