Made by us here at our headquarters in Chesterfield, Blu Thru is a safe and fast boat engine salt flush system that improves marine engine cooling performance by removing built-up salt residue, reducing corrosion in cooling chambers and heat risers.
Suitable for inboards, outboards and jet skis.

Case Study :Terra Nautica –
Terra Nautica, based in Javea Spain, has been a trade customer of Boatworld now for the last 3-4 yrs. Terra Nautica is well known in the area for selling, servicing and repairing customers boats. It also offers boat storage, IYT training courses and launching facilities.
The company is run by Paul Devenish who has years of experience in the marine business, selling and servicing boats. Paul is from an engineering background and has spent a lot of his time working on both outboard and inboard marine engines.
Paul bought some Blu Thru last summer from Boatworld , a little sceptical but curious as to whether it might help maintain customers engines. September last year he had a chance to use it. Paul takes up the story:
“ A customer brought in an old Mercury 15HP outboard .To be honest it was in a right state. We managed to get it to run but there was no tell tail at all and the waterways were seriously clogged up where the salt water had crusted it up. On inspection it seemed to be blocked around the powerhead where it was awkward to get anything down the channels to clear it by hand. Now I would normally have told the customer at this stage that is wasn’t worth bothering with, but then I thought let’s try this Blu Thru stuff. So we ran it up with Blu Thru in the tank, stopped it and left it to soak overnight. Next day ran it up again and to my surprise there was a small dribble of blue water now coming out of the tell tail !! It still wasn’t enough at this stage so switched it off and left it for a couple of hours. But next time I started it, it soon went from dribble to a healthy stream ! I can honestly say I was surprised by that. We now are using Blu Thru regularly on customers engines. We store and winterise a lot of boats and now we flush them all with Blu Thru. We also now incorporate it as a routine with all engine servicing. Recommend it.”

This really does work, water was just a dribble coming from the tell tale on my outboard and I was thinking of changing the impeller, with nothing to lose I added some blue thru to the tank and within seconds it started pumping water like a garden hose… highly recommend.

I have been using the blue-thru kit for many purposes. It’s a great product to wash your boat,rods,and reels down with, it does a super job. I also washed windows with it and just squeegee it off. Of course, I can not see the salt deposit and calcification inside my out board motor, but is removes the salt from my reels; therefore, it is removing the salt and other deposits from inside of my engine. Great product, love it!!!!
